The best thing about having a car made out of wood would be if it broke down in an isolated place on a really cold night you could chop it up and build a fire out of it. Also, people who rode in it might develop a growing interest in carpentry - no bad thing - remember, Jesus was a carpenter, and so too was Harrison Ford. The worst thing about the wooden car would be the splinters.
