What Do You Expect
Do you think that in the 14th Century, lawyers for those accused by the Spanish Inquisition ever got the word 'heresy' confused with 'hearsay', thereby muddling up the legal proceedings totally? (eg 'Your honour, the evidence against my client is pure hearsay'. 'Ah,' says the hard-of-hearing judge. 'So you admit to the heresy' and before any further protests could be made the accused was taken away and beheaded at the stake.) Answer: No, because the Spanish Inquisition didn't commence until the 15th Century. This was, in fact, a trick question that when closely analysed made no sense, much like 'Who put the bomp in the bompa bompa bomp?' or 'Why is Whoopi Goldberg so talented?'
