Weather 'Tis Nobler

Meteorologists have more or less accepted that they will never be able to predict the weather with perfect accuracy. This is due to the fact that the atmosphere is a chaotic system - where small changes can have very large effects. This is known as The Butterfly Effect - because a butterfly flapping its wings in Switzerland can cause a hurricane in Brazil. I say meteorologists are quitters - why don't they just kill all the butterflies?
