Toil
You know what amazes me? People in the 40s. I mean, Winston Churchill says to them 'I have nothing to offer but blood, sweat, toil and tears' and they go 'Oh, yeah! Toil!! Excellent' and off they go. Imagine if a world leader came on TV these days and said 'I have nothing to offer but blood, sweat, toil and tears'. We'd all go 'Yeah? Well... thanks, but no thanks.' And then the Nazis would invade and we'd all be doomed.
