Super Fashion

We often take our superheroes for granted. We assume that just because they can fly, or shoot laser beams from their eyes or be the first one to be asked for directions in any given situation, that they are somehow not quite human. And, of course, they’re not. In that respect they are much like elves or Proclaimers. But we shouldn’t assume that because of this they are better than us, or without flaw. Take, for example, their clothes. Let’s face it - very few of us can get away with wearing skin-tight clothing. And I don’t see how possessing the ability to, say, wield magnetic forces, would alter this. Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spiderman’s ’spidey-sense’ tingles to alert him to imminent danger. It’s a damn shame his fashion sense doesn’t do the same thing.
