Spelling (And I Don't Mean Tori)
My favourite songs are songs that spell words. I'm thinking 'R.E.S.P.E.C.T', I'm thinking 'B-O-P-G-I-R-L'. But I think there should be songs that spell more difficult words such as 'asphyxiate' and 'genocidal'. Let's test these song-writers out. It's educational and it's fun. Also, while we're at it, how about some songs in different educational areas? I mean, the Sesame Street '1-2-34-5, 6-78-9-10, 11-12, do doo dedoo do doo do doo etc' pinball machine song is one of the finest examples of pop music ever composed. But it's just counting. Let's extend ourselves a little. For example, I've always found it jolly interesting that cos squared x plus sin squared x equals one for all x and I think it would form the basis of an exciting grunge lyric. Or is that just crazy talk?
