Won’t You Guide My Sleigh Tonight?
Here’s an idea for a Christmas movie - Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, from the perspective of the fog!! I see it as a psychological thriller, a battle of wits between Santa and the fog. Of course, in the end, Santa’s conscription of Rudolph trumps the wily fog’s schemes… Or does it? Perhaps it is somehow subtly revealed (eg by a voiceover or a caption or a Mariah Carey ballad) that while it appears that Santa won, in fact, Rudolph’s sudden elevation to the top of the reindeer hierarchy caused so much resentment and in-fighting that it ultimately toppled the Claus empire from within in a far more devastating manner than a simple foggy night ever could have. How brilliantly Machiavellian! It reminds me of Porky’s 1. Also, the fog could be played by a digitally enhanced Jon Bon Jovi!!
