As a big game hunter of some (eg 'no') experience, I can confirm that the most feared animal to have in one's sights is not a lion. Nor is it a grizzly bear or a rhino or Paris Hilton. No, the most fearsome animal we stalk is the Giant Snail of South America. Because, heck, you can shoot that sucker straight between the eyes and you're still probably just going to, y'know, clip his shell.
