Making Our Own Fun
When I was a lad, we didn't have video games or CDs or street crime to keep us amused. We had to make our own entertainment. Fortunately, my circle of friends included George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and a wide assortment of world-class actors, cinematographers and best boys, so the entertainment we made for ourselves invariably ended up grossing hundreds of millions of dollars in box office revenue and merchandising. I kind of forget my point, but I challenge any youngster today to plummet off buildings, perform deadly daredevil driving feats and take blows to the head and groin with the skill and grace of my next door neighbour Jasper... In retrospect, we should probably have used him as a stuntman.
