Vic Reeves and the Wonder Stuff
I don't care what anybody else thinks, I still insist there are far too few songs about spatial disorientation. Off the top of my head, I can only name three of any significance: Dizzy (Vic Reeves and the Wonder Stuff), You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) (Dead or Alive) and Upside Down (Diana Ross). Is it any coincidence that all three are as catchy as blazes? Of course, being a fan of the interweaving of space and time, I'd happily add If I Could Turn Back Time (The Artist Formerly Known As Cher) to that list, were it not for the RIAA's ongoing refusal to accept the fundamental tenets of Einstein's theory of relativity. Wake up, RIAA! Your eighteenth century Newtonian mindset on the nature of space and digital rights management is going to be your undoing! And let's not even mention your stance against penicillin. Sure, it was discovered in a mouldy petri dish, but it saves lives, dammit!
Begone,
