Stargate: Atlantis
Watched Stargate: Atlantis the other night because, moronically, I had no nails nearby to stab repeatedly into my eyes. I remember little of that lost hour - the brain truly does have some wondrous mechanisms built into its structure - but one line of dialogue caught my vigilant ear and now, almost a week later, refuses to be released from my mind's tenacious grip:
"We've stabilised her, but her condition continues to worsen"
Okay. Um, Dr Stargate-Guy? That's not really 'stabilising' her then, is it? Unless, of course, you've put her in the shed that holds all the horses. In which case, fair enough on the linguistic front, but 'must try harder' on the, y'know, medical one.
