Shania Twain
Last time I was on holidays in Mullumbimby (aka 'the biggest little town in Australia', a claim to fame that is both accurate and timely) the one thing that struck me as delightfully whimsical was the presence of a tribute band roaming the RSL clubs of the far North Coast and being advertised regularly (and with daring and panache) on TV.
The tribute band's tributee?
Miss Shania Twain.
Now, I love Shania. Nobody makes me feel more like a woman than she does. But, honestly, how many albums has she done? Two? Does she really warrant her own tribute show just at the now? And, if so, when are we going to see the Color Me Badd tribute band spring up? That's what I want to know. Because I want to be in it.
(Note:I think the Color Me Badd tribute band should be called Color Me Better and I bags being Beige (the main singer).)
(Further note:Another good tribute band would be 'Not In Kansas', which would cover both the great Toto songs.)
