Rocky Balboa
Watched Rocky Balboa the other night. I must admit that, after Rocky I, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV (especially - take that Ivan Drago, you steroid-using commie hater of democracy! Yes!!) and Rocky V, I found this final (?) installment a profound disappointment. If only Sly had shown sufficient foresight back in the '70s when he originally created the character, he could have made the Italian Stallion part-Korean, christened him 'Rocky Vi' and ultimately satisfied sticklers for Romanic numeral sequel consistency everywhere. But no. I say 'Plan ahead, Sly!'
Still, at least 'Balboa' has six letters. So, that's a small nod to the ancient majesty of the Roman numeral counting system. Or, y'know, if not a nod, then certainly some kind of an unintelligible half-sneer.
