Monkey
I hope you all saw the Monkey marathon Saturday morning. Ah, Monkey. What other children's TV show combines the teachings of Buddha with regular bouts of sudden, senseless violence?
Answer: None at all, I'm sad to say.
(Remember: the nature of Monkey was irrepressible!!)
(Also, why was Pigsy's weapon of choice an everyday garden rake??)
(And furthermore, according to the theme song, Monkey 'knew every magic trick under the sun'. Does that mean that he knows the David Copperfield one where he walks throught the Great Wall of China? How does he do that??? Is David Copperfield Monkey??? There is a certain physical similarity there, is there not?)
