Matchbox 20
Of all the matchboxes out there, who would have thought that it would be Matchbox 20 that would first achieve chart success? I thought that Matchbox 8, with their a capella thrash metal stylings had potential and Matchbox 37's smooth integration of acid jazz and military marches was fascinating. Of course, Matchbox 22's obsession with musical paradox brought them undone, while Matchbox 14 should have known that there will only ever be one Spandau Ballet. So, it looks like Matchbox 20 is the winner. Huh. It's a funny old world, isn't it? (Especially when you include all the blonde jokes. Boy, they crack me up. Hahaha. She's stupid because of her hair colour... I get it...)
