In The Flintstones, what was Dino? Now, I have a basic grounding in paleontology (I'm no expert, but I know my dinosaurs) and he looks like no dinosaur I've ever seen. He's like a miniature sauropod of some description. Except that there was no such thing. And what's with the Barney Rubble laugh? Who's he trying to fool? And what's he trying to hide? Perhaps he knows that The Flintstones mythos is riddled with historical inaccuracies, and is faintly embarrassed by it.
And Huckleberry Hound? He got 'stuck in the chimberley' every bloody week and had to have the picture turned around so he could watch the rest of the Huckleberry Hound cartoon shoo. Do you think the cameraman got annoyed with that? Do you think he ever said 'Hey, Huck, maybe you could give the whole trampoline thing a miss this week.'
And don't get me started on Scooby bloody Doo.
