Lennox Head Mayor Declares War On 'Tourism'

Martin Grainey, the hard-of-hearing mayor of northern NSW town Lennox Head, has declared war on 'tourists' and all who harbour them.
Inspired by the words of US President George W Bush, Mayor Grainey unleashed a tirade against tourism that local residents found both baffling and inspiring.
"I have a feeling he's missed the point," said a local herbal dentist who asked only to be identified as 'El Incisor'. "On the other hand, it gives us a legitimate excuse to use some of our smart bombs on those cry-babies in Byron Bay."
