Study Guide

Here's some tips on how to study effectively for your next exams and ensure you receive as many marks as possible. And possibly more!

GENERAL TIP - If you don't know the answer to a question, you shouldn't start swearing at the supervisors. Unless, of course, you really want to.

WRITTEN EXAMS - If you don't know the answer, write a lot... illegibly. You'll look knowledgable, with plenty to say and in such a rush to say it that you can't be bothered with neatness.

ORAL EXAMS - Always half-answer the question. Make it seem as if anything you've omitted from your answer was omitted simply because you thought it was so trivial that it didn't bear mentioning. If you think the situation is borderline, take your top off. This always worked for me.

MULTIPLE-CHOICE EXAMS - Remember, B's and C's are more common than A's and D's. No letter will occur three times in a row. If D is 'All of the above' or 'None of the above' then more often than not, it's the correct answer (although you should allow for the previous factors). If you're still not sure about an answer, ask the studio audience.

PHYSICAL EXAMS - Remember, pap smears can be fun. Just approach it with the right attitude. Your gynaecologist is your friend (this, however, does not mean that your friend is your gynaecologist. Be wary of this common mistake).

BONUS TIP - If you really must do so, swear at the supervisors. It may not be nice, but that's why they're paid the big bucks.
