Birds

Dear Dr Dan,
What do I feed a small baby mockingbird? It has feathers but is unable to fly. I have been feeding it sugar water, but was wondering about solid food.
-- Bird Novice

Dear Bird Novice,
In the wild, a mockingbird is fed by its mother's regurgitations. If you are not bulimic, perhaps you know somebody who is? Calista Flockhart adopted recently, so should be well practiced.
