Horse Statue Meanings
Did you know that statues of soldiers atop horses have meanings that relate to how the soldier died? Apparently, if the horse has all four feet on the ground, the soldier died a natural death (eg while appearing on Letterman to promote his book and erotic game show). If the horse has one foot in the air, the soldier died of his wounds acquired during battle. If the horse has two feet in the air, the soldier died in battle. And if the horse has all four feet in the air, then the soldier died when he flew his flying horse into a tree!
