Bad English
In the 1989 smash hit single When I See You Smile, those infamous proponents of poor grammar and haphazard spelling Bad English claim that ‘when I see you smile, I can face the world.’ Impressive to be sure, but it’s only the tip of the iceberg. Here’s the rest (ie, the non-tip) of that facial expression-espying, situation-facing iceberg.
| When I See You… | I Can Face… |
| smile | the world |
| grin | all of Europe |
| snort | southern Guam |
| smirk | a small college campus |
| roll your eyes | an Under-12 soccer team |
| snigger | my Aunt Elsie |
