The Perfect Storm
Watched The Perfect Storm last night. Impressively damp with lots of regular shouting and cheering about triumphant maritime moments that I didn’t really follow. Still, I think the important thing to remember about this movie is that it was based on true events. Which raises the question as to why George Clooney was out fishing in such terrible weather to begin with. George, you’re a big movie star! Why risk your life trying to catch some stupid swordfish? If you were a little short of cash, why didn’t you just ask Noah Wyle for a loan? I’m sure he would have been happy to help you out. He seems like a nice guy. Instead,a senseless waste of celebrity life. Much like when you did The Peacemaker.
