Six And Out

When we were kids, we used to play football and cricket and the like in the backyard and balls and stuff inevitably went over the neighbour’s fence. At first, our next door neighbour was okay about this, affably returning the wayward ball or frisbee or whatever. Eventually, however, he grew less tolerant and finally told us that he wasn’t going to return any more stuff that ended up in his backyard. Which was bad luck for my other next-door neighbour Jasper who foolishly lost his insulin over the fence the very next day and slipped into a diabetic coma, from which he only recently awoke after repeated playings of the Fame soundtrack.
